Welcome to REConnections DIR® Center
Supporting children and families in the Tampa Bay area.
REConnections DIR® Center is not diagnosis-specific. We welcome children with a wide range of developmental and learning needs and focus on how they grow—not on a label.
We meet every child where they are and provide individualized therapy and support. Whether your child needs help with regulation, communication, motor skills, or academic learning, we build upon their strengths while helping them develop the tools to thrive at home, in school, and in the community.
The REConnections DIR Pathway
Services and supports tailored to your child’s needs and
Therapy is at the heart of what we do.
Children receive individualized occupational, speech therapy, & music therapy tailored to support sensory, motor, communication, and emotional development in a relationship-based setting.
We don’t rely on ABA or external rewards.
Our DIRFloortime® approach builds meaningful connections and focuses on developmental progress, regulation, communication, and real-world engagement.
Individualized therapy for real growth.
Each child works one-on-one with a therapist, allowing us to fully support sensory, motor, communication, and emotional development through the DIRFloortime® approach.
The REConnections Difference
We don’t define children by a diagnosis. We see their strengths, support their challenges, and meet them where they are developmentally.
Who We Help
We support children with differences in regulation, communication, sensory processing, and motor planning. Many of the families we serve have children who use AAC, struggle with transitions, or simply benefit from a more individualized and supportive therapy environment.
What makes our approach different:
Every session is 1:1 with a speech, occupational, or music therapist
Therapy and academic support are fully individualized
Tutoring services are led by a DIR®-certified educator
Collaborative team approach between therapists and educators
No ABA, no reward charts—just relationship-based understanding and support
Children aren’t expected to mask or “act neurotypical”
Our goal is to help children feel safe, connected, and confident while making meaningful progress.

Start by reaching out to schedule a 30-minute Consult.
This first meeting is just for caregivers to learn more about our therapy and tutoring services, ask questions, and see if REConnections DIR Center feels like the right fit.
STEP TWO:
Schedule an intake session.
After your consultation, we’ll schedule an intake session. This may include a developmental/therapy evaluation or a parent meeting to set goals for tutoring and academic support.

Our team will review your child’s needs and recommend a plan.
After the intake, our team meets to create an individualized therapy and/or tutoring plan, making sure it aligns with your child’s developmental profile and family goals.
STEP FOUR:
You’ll receive a service recommendation.
If we’re the right fit and have availability, we’ll complete the intake paperwork and schedule your first sessions. If space is limited, your child may be placed on a waitlist while we expand staffing or scheduling.
